Tequesta

Tequesta is located along U.S. Highway 1 to the north of Jupiter in northern Palm Beach County along the blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

The Village of Tequesta has a quaint small-town feel where residents and visitors enjoy the ocean, Intracoastal Waterway, many golf courses, shopping centers, beautiful homes and condominiums and best of all, not too many people.   The Loxahatchee River touches much of the area which allows for boating, fishing, jet-skiing, kayaking, and snorkeling. You will find paddle boarders and kayakers launching from various spots along the water. Direct access to the ocean by boat is just minutes away through the Jupiter Inlet which is marked by the historically designated Jupiter Lighthouse.

There are several parks in Tequesta which adds to the appeal the area has to families. Constitution Park and Tequesta Park have large open spaces with tennis courts, basketball courts, and baseball fields. Coral Cove Park is where you’ll find natural limestone rock formations which allow snorkelers see wondrous underwater visuals when the conditions are right.  On the Intracoastal side, boats dock during weekends and families can have great fun in the shallow water.  The Jonathan Dickenson State Park offers rides on the scenic Loxahatchee River and camping opportunities, theres a skate park on Seabrook Road.

The homes for sale in Tequesta offer a mix of residential neighborhoods, from single family homes, condominiums, country club homes, and upscale waterfront homes for sale. It is a relaxed area with a strong arts influence. The Jonathan Dickenson State Park offers rides on the scenic Loxahatchee River and camping opportunities, theres a skate park on Seabrook Road.

Amazing restaurants and shopping opportunities are easily accessible on US1. Several charming and casual open air restaurants line the inlet with great views of the lighthouse. The famous Jupiter Maltz Theatre of the Performing Arts is nearby for a variety of shows and performances.  Discover history and art at the Flagler Museum, or world-class entertainment at the Kravis Center of the Performing Arts in downtown West Palm Beach. It’s just a short drive to Palm Beach Island which offers a rich history, world class shopping on Worth Avenue, and incredible fine dining.
