It contains 320 historic buildings.. The tree-lined streets of this area are studded with vintage buildings from the 1920s to mid-century, including Spanish Mission styles to 1950s classic ranches plus waterfront homes which are grand in every aspect. Old Northwood  is within walking distance of Northwood Village, a funky and eclectic area away just north of downtown, this small enclave has a terrific selection of enjoyable dining, small galleries, and a monthly wine stroll.
