Old Floresta

Old Floresta is Boca Raton’s historical community that dates back to  1925 when many of the homes, including the Boca Raton Resort and Club were designed and built by the famous developer Addison Mizner (1872-1933).   Mizner’s development company began construction on custom homes in what became known as Old Floresta.   The original homes were designed in the style  Spanish Mission  architecture with rough-finished stucco, a multitude of windows and doors that opened onto wrought-iron verandas.
